Aerial View of Duke Village
We're glad to finally get some coverage on the website of the Duke Power Cliffside plant and village. Duke Energy contributed this photo to Mrs. Davis for her upcoming new book Chimney Rock/Rutherford County. The plant and village were built around 1940; the plant is still an integral part of the Duke Power system. The view is to the northeast. The town of Cliffside can be seen in the distance in the upper left.
