Cliffside, June 28. — Hello, friends. Many of the Cliffside people went to the beach last week-end. We hope everyone had a nice time, but we feel sorry for then if they got a blistered back.
Do you know what Sunday is? It is the Fourth of July. Many of the cities ‘round about, are planning celebrations for July 3, as the Fourth comes on Sunday. Guess it’s alright to have these celebrations, but pick up your newspaper the next day and find out the loss of lives it costs every year. Always, it seems, when people are celebrating a holiday more lives are taken and accidents happen in every way. People of today are more eager, it seems to want to go and have fun than ever before. We better sign off here before we get something started we can’t stop.
