Even though the Cliffside football team consists of entirely new material, the Coach and his boys are doing an excellent piece of work. They played Kings Mountain Friday afternoon, October 18, losing to them. On October 25, Cliffside boys met Lenoir high on the athletic field at Lenoir. At the end of the first half the score was tied. It seems that our local boys lost their wind and pep in the last half for when the whistle blew the score was 19 to 6 in favor of the opposing team. Let’s not give up, boys! Fight until the end.
