Much of the contents of this section—articles and advertisements related to Cliffside—are taken from old editions of The Rutherford County Sun, a weekly newspaper that served the foothills for many years. A great number of them are from the years 1926 through 1929, which we've gleaned from a collection of CDs made by W.D. “Bill” Floyd on behalf of The Old Tryon Genealogical Society. Articles from previous and subsequent years were contributed by other individuals.
