#222 Snowy Square #1 circa 1923

This man is transporting himself on a horse-drawn sled. Could he be trying to clear the snow from the street? Snow was fairly rare in Cliffside. Big snows were something that happened “before your time.” It was common lore that “many years ago” the pond froze over and people actually walked across it.
