#omt248a - The filter plant, built in the 1920s, was used to provide the town with clean water (drawn from the river). It remained in use until a big new plant was built down river sometime in the 1980s.	#omt250 - Beside the filter plant looking north. At right is the warehouse and original opening room. CRR locomotives once backed boxcars into the shadowed space beside the warehouse to onload shipments of towels.
