Judging from the identical pony and wardrobe, these photos were taken the same year, possibly the same day, probably in 1939. At left is Jack Pennington, son of Ernest and Virginia Beason Pennington. Billy Joe Houser, son of Ealon and Amy Beason Houser, is the wrangler on the right.
